Chiang Mai, Thailand, hosted its annual Flower Festival over the weekend. The city’s public gardens are especially beautiful this time of year, and visitors flock to the gardens to see flowers found only in Chiang Mai, like the Damask Rose, a rose hybrid.
The Flower Festival Parade on Saturday is the highlight every year. Traditional Thai dancers and Miss Chiang Mai Flower Festival competitors ride atop elaborately decorated floral floats and hand out roses to spectators.
Broke out my sweet html skillz from the days of Myspace & added a Pinterest button to my sidebar!

Daily Bite: Looking for a healthy snack? We suggest our Egg and Avocado Toast!
This looks DELICIOUS, and also super easy on my tummy (for some reason my sick tummy is perfectly OK with eggs).
Man, being sick sucks. I had to stay off work today. That makes it 4 hours in the last 3 days that I’ve been at work. At least my boss is super accommodating!
On the plus side, I’ve read a bunch, watched a lot of Bones, figured out how to do a sock bun, eaten some toast, and lounged with my pup. Also, most of my homework is already done because I kicked it’s ass on Monday. So, all in all, I’d call today a Win!
Trying to be super positive and upbeat, but being sick is hard work! I’m gonna go eat some more toast and watch some more Bones now. Nothing heals like David Boreanaz <3
Deleted the picture of me that went with this and replaced it with a goofy picture of coffee, because I felt self conscious. Just know that it was the face of exhaustion! Me, just chilling in my favorite cozy sweater with a furry hood, decompressing after a looping day. My meals today: two $1 cheeseburgers, half an order of fries, some coffee & zero-calorie soda. Whoops! That is definitely coming back to haunt me, but oh well…worth it! Had a great, if whirlwind day of school. I spent all day at work sick and in a fog and I could barely operate my computer, but as soon as my feet hit campus it was like something clicked. I sped through all my work and absorbed as much knowledge as possible. 13 hour days, no problem! I’m kicking this semester’s ass, whether it likes it or not!!!
